Many students at ELC Los Angeles, who are studying English, ask us there are still things to do in Las Vegas even if they are under 21. Las Vegas is of course famous for the drinking, gambling, and clubbing scene which are only reserved for 21+ year olds- but this doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun if you’re younger!
There are plenty of different shows to watch in Las Vegas – Cirque Du Soleil, musicals, The Blue Man Group, magic shows, and more! You can either check www.ticketmaster.com for the prices in advance, or you can check out the Tix 4 Tonight booths located at various areas of Las Vegas if you want to see what the cheaper deals are on the day of!
One of the great things in Las Vegas is that they have great places to eat. There are plenty of buffets around at the various casinos, such as the Buffet at Bellagio, the Buffet at Wynn, and the Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan. If you go on a weekend, the prices are a bit more expensive than the weekdays, so it is good to eat during the Brunch time. So eat your heart out at the buffets before you start off your exciting day in Vegas!
If you’re under 21 and feel like you won’t have as many things to do in Las Vegas, you can always sign up for a trip to Grand Canyon! The Grand Canyon is located about five hours away from Las Vegas by car, and it is definitely a must if you want to see an amazing natural landscape. The Grand Canyon National Park’s canyon has been carved to its present shape by the Colorado River. Make sure to bring your camera to share pictures of the magnificent view with your friends!
There are other entertainments available around Las Vegas too, such as the Bellagio fountain show, a limo tour of Las Vegas trip, concerts at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, and improv at Harrah’s. Just make sure to check the age limit before you get any tickets, since there might be exceptions
So what are you waiting for? Come by the office to find out the next Las Vegas trip and sign up with your friends
