The UCSB Summer Campus Program is not available for 2018. The UCSB Summer Junior Program is available for 2018.

Live on campus at the beautiful University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) and learn English with the English Language Center (ELC) Adult Summer Campus Program. Our program is offered during the summer months of July and August and allows students to combine UCSB dormitory accommodation with one of our General English or Test Preparation Courses. Students attend ELC English classes Monday through Friday at the ELC Santa Barbara school, approximately 20 minutes away by express bus public transportation. Afternoon group activities are also available at the ELC Santa Barbara school. Please note: All classes for the UCSB Campus Program classes will be held at the main ELC location.

UCSB SUMMER ENGLISH PROGRAM FACT FILE

Course options: General English courses, IELTS Preparation Course, TOEFL Preparation Course, English Plus Course

UCSB ADULT SUMMER ACCOMMODATION OVERVIEW

UCSB is world-famous research university with a prestigious undergraduate and graduate school, and is currently ranked as one of the 10 best public universities in U.S. News & World Report's 2015 rankings. The university is located just a few miles north of Santa Barbara in trendy Goleta, California on a sunny beachfront campus. The campus, a mixture of new and traditional buildings, includes cafeterias, libraries, and research institutes. Our program gives students the opportunity to experience part of the life as an American college student by living on campus in a dormitory community at UCSB, while they study English with ELC. Students live in a UCSB dormitory that has tennis courts, a swimming pool, basketball courts, and outdoor fields. Students also have access to the UCSB food court and the UCSB student bookstore, and may use the UCSB library. Students are placed in rooms with international roommates that come from more than 20 different countries. ELC support staff live on campus with students to assist students with their needs.
