Sara loves to travel and she has been to many different countries. One of the unique story from her travels abroad is that she adopted a dog while traveling in South Korea. Her dog responds to Sara when she speaks to him in Korean and French! She has so many stories to share so we sat down with her and asked a few questions about her stay in LA.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Switzerland, but I’m French and Italian.

Why are you studying English in Los Angeles?

To improve my English.

Is this your first time in the US?

No, I came two times before for vacation.

What were you surprised to learn about the US or LA? Did you experience culture shock?

I haven’t experienced a culture shock but I remember that the first time I came in Los Angeles I was very surprised by the size of food portions!

What do you miss about your country?

What I miss the most is food.

What do you do for fun? Hobbies? When you aren’t working, I might find you ____________.

I love to read, but in my country when I have free time I usually go out with my dogs.

I don’t have a favorite moment but I really enjoy every single day!
