I was born in Berlin and grew up there. About ten years ago I moved to Zurich, Switzerland. Sometimes in your life, you feel like you need a change, and that is why I moved to Switzerland.
I am a life coach and a supervisor, and have some requests from English clients. I want to improve my English so that I can work with them.
I worked on the board of some companies as a CEO for many years and needed a change. I got a degree in coaching and education and began working as a life coach. My clients are sometimes private, individual clients, and I also work with companies in workplace development.
I love LA! There are three cities in the world that I love: Zurich, Berlin and Los Angeles. The first time I visited LA was nine years ago with two friends and we had such a good time. I really like the weather.. it always feels like summer.
Malibu. I love the park there and there’s a small area with a lot of shops. It’s very nice.
I was surprised that the environment was so casual. When you think about LA, and what you see in the movies is all the famous people. But the environment is actually casual and comfortable.
About three years ago, I started painting. I paint whatever is on my mind. An abstract style.
My favorite phone application is my Boa Lingua Guide; it’s my travel agency. And my dictionary!
American food! During the super bowl, my host mom made us lots of food. Sandwiches, chips, chocolate…
Come to ELC! I really like the teaching style. I think it’s the perfect way to learn English. Grammar class is very important. Teacher Carmen has a great style. In the mornings after grammar class, I feel accomplished knowing that I learned something. It’s easy to forget grammar rules when you are not studying in a classroom setting.
