Semi-Intensive English Course

The 20-lesson per week Semi-Intensive course is designed to improve communication skills and is perfect for students who want to study English in the mornings and enjoy ELC's beautiful cities in the afternoons. Students enrolled in this program meet for classes during Sections A (9:00 - 10:40) and B (11:00 - 12:40), as shown in the General Course Schedule listed below.

  • All levels: Low beginner to proficiency (12 levels including beginner, intermediate, advanced and proficiency)
  • Number of lessons (per week): 20 lessons per week (16.7 hours per week)

  • Start dates: Every Monday
  • Duration: Minimum of 1 week

TEACHING METHODS

All ELC Instructors:

  • give students practice speaking in English and listening to and understanding English spoken by native speakers
  • teach students the rules for grammar usage through communicative teaching methods
  • provide students with feedback and special exercises to help improve pronunciation
