Summer Family English Programs

ELC welcomes families to study with us. We will help you build your family’s program to create an unforgettable family vacation filled with learning, exploring and bonding. Adult family members will have an opportunity to take General English Courses or Test Preparation Courses at our main English center. Younger students can join our Junior Programs, located in Los Angeles (UCLA), Santa Barbara (UCSB), and Boston. An ELC staff member is available to be your concierge in all your planning including accommodations, and exciting family outings and trips.

FAMILY PROGRAM FOR ADULTS

City: Los Angeles, Boston, and Santa Barbara

(Saturday to Saturday, minimum 1-week enrollment)

Ages: 16+ years old

Accommodation: ELC housing, family housing, or independent housing.

Morning Course:
General English Courses, Test Preparation Courses, and English Plus Courses

Activities: Optional Activities Program or arranged by ELC staff

FAMILY PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN

Semi-Intensive English Course, Entrepreneurship Course (Los Angeles (UCLA) and Boston only)

Activities: Junior Program Activities Programs: Classic, University Explorer (UCLA and Boston only), Film Explorer (UCLA only), Sports Explorer (Boston only), STEM Explorer (Boston only), Surf Explorer (UCSB only), Outdoor Explorer (UCSB only).

FAMILY PROGRAM FOR ADULTS INFORMATION

Adult family members aged 16+ will join ELC and participate in a unique program that meets their individual needs. Adult family members will take courses with other international adult students at our main ELC centers. Adult family members may choose to participate in an optional activities program with other adult students or participate in a customized activities program with their family. A dedicated ELC staff member is available to help plan exciting family outings and trips, ensuring that your family has a memorable experience. Adult students may choose to stay in our ELC Accommodations together or chose to stay in their own independent accommodations. Our full-time on-site Housing Coordinator is available to assist families in finding the most suitable accommodation.

FAMILY PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN INFORMATION

Younger family members aged 11 - 17, can join our all-inclusive Junior Program. The junior program includes courses, activities, and can include on-campus dormitory accommodation as well.

There is a nonrefundable $175 application fee and $50 materials fee for all adult courses.
In order to qualify for UCLA housing, a student must be enrolled in the Semi-Intensive 20 English Course. Individual Instruction Courses may be added in the afternoon. Schedule is flexible.
