English Course Junior Program

Junior English Courses at ELC

ELC staff is dedicated to providing English courses of the highest quality to international students. By employing highly qualified and dedicated instructors and by utilizing a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum, ELC provides the perfect environment for rapid language improvement. Students can choose between two great options for their Courses. Courses are held between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm every weekday. Students may choose up to one course per week. Students of all levels may register for the Semi-Intensive English Course; students must be at a High-Intermediate level or above to register for the Entrepreneurship Course.

 

Semi Intensive English Course​

Students studying in our Semi-Intensive English Course will learn the rules of grammar through communicative teaching methods. Through speaking and writing, students will improve their abilities and pronunciation, as well as practice listening to and understanding native speakers.Students enrolled in the Semi-Intensive Course will have the opportunity to choose an elective course as well.

FILM Elective – June 29th – July 24th

Students learn English with state-of-the-art teaching techniques and programs that help them improve their English language ability. Teachers also instruct students on how to learn English with accelerated learning techniques, by creating an environment that facilitates ready English learning. All ELC teachers are native speakers of American English. All have a university degree and specialized training in Teaching English as a Second Language. Teachers use a variety of active teaching techniques.

TOEFL Preparation Elective July 27th – August 7th​

The TOEFL Preparation elective will give students a better understanding of the TOEFL test. Experienced teachers will help Identify strategies and tips to prepare for the iBT reading, listening, speaking, and writing tasks. Students will take weekly mock tests, take part in writing workshops  and be provided with individualized feedback in order to improve the score in a short period of time.

Students studying in our Entrepreneurship course will combine academic training, games and projects to understand and incorporate concepts of business and leadership skills. At the end of their two-week course students will present their business plans and team projects. This course is for high intermediate and advanced students.
